An experiment gone wrong causes everyone over the age of 15 to disappear from planet Earth.

"The Mystery Cruise" centers around best friends and impending business partners, Alvirah Meehan (Gail O'Grady), a lottery winner turned amateur sleuth, and Regan Reilly (Michelle Harrison), a private investigator. After rescuing the diamond-collared pooch of a wealthy socialite (Carol Higgins Clark), the two heroines set off with their spouses to join Regan's mom, Nora Reilly (Colleen Winton), a world famous mystery writer, on a luxurious three day cruise around the San Juan Island off the coast of Washington. The cruise serves as the setting for a mystery game created to promote the release of Nora's latest book. As the boat calmly sets sail, everyone is enjoying getting into character, especially Alvirah, who may or may not be the games "murderess." But troubled waters lie ahead when Alvirah gets a hunch that a real killer may be on board and, together with Regan, the pair teams up to solve the high seas whodunnit.

With telecom fraud cases going increasingly rampant, it’s a war in the air against invisible enemy in digital network era. The Ministry of Public Security has established a special center focusing on telecom fraud crimes, criminal mastermind Ah-hai and his gang become the key target. Female SWAT team member Xu Xiaotu is sent as an undercover agent to penetrate into Ah-hai’s den in Thailand. They has also recruited Ding Xiaotian, a town policeman who has come to Beijing alone for catching criminals. The center is led by Captain Tan Sirong, an experienced police officer who has cracked many telecom fraud cases before.

The Big Easy television series was inspired by the film of the same name from 1987. The show premiered on the USA Cable Network August 11, 1996. Tony Crane played New Orleans police lieutenant/detective Remy McSwain, Susan Walters played state district attorney Anne Osbourne and Barry Corbin played police chief C.D. LeBlanc. Daniel Petrie Jr. was the executive producer of the series. 35 episodes were broadcast over two seasons.The series takes place in New Orleans, Louisiana and was shot on location.
